Creating a tailor made programme for the best results
Osteopathy
Osteopathy is a safe and natural health care system, which focuses on the musculo-skeletal system (bones, joints, muscles, ligaments and tendons). It combines scientific knowledge of anatomy, physiology and clinical methods of investigation with detailed examination using the hands. Regulated by the General Osteopathic Council, all Osteopaths must undergo intensive training and adhere to strict legal guidelines.
Dry Needling
Also known as trigger point acupuncture, dry needling, is a type of acupuncture which works on “knots” within the muscles. These trigger points, can radiate pain to other areas. It is used to gently relieve muscle spasm, and to reduce inflammation in very acute areas as well working on releasing chronic muscle spasm.
Kinesio Taping
The Kinesio Taping® Method is a rehabilitative taping technique that is designed to facilitate the body’s natural healing process while providing support and stability to muscles and joints without restricting the body’s range of motion as well as prolonging the benefits of manual therapy administered within the clinical setting. Latex-free and wearable for days at a time, Kinesio® Tex Tape successfully treats a variety of musculoskeletal conditions.
Cranial Osteopathy
This is a refined and subtle type of osteopathic treatment that encourages the release of stress and tension throughout the body. It is a gentle, yet extremely effective approach and may be used in a wide range of conditions for people of all ages, from birth to old age.
Auriculotherapy – Ear Acupuncture
Auriculotherapy, also known as Ear Acupuncture is a branch of acupuncture that focuses on promoting healing throughout the body by focusing on treatment on the ear. It uses shorter needles than those used for body acupuncture. Acu seeds, pellets and ASPs may also be used. It is helpful, not only for pain, but a wide range of functional conditions such as stress and migraines.
