What Our Clients Say
Put up with spasms and pain in my lower back muscle for too long, should have sought her from Moira more quickly. In one session pain completely gone. Looking forward to some rest. Thank you, Moira!
Moira is great – she really knows her stuff, instantly puts you at your ease and brings about real improvement in only a small number of sessions (and sometimes in just one). I have Moira to thank for recommending the correct course of action to take when I developed a debilitating back problem, from which I was then able to recover fully.
Having suffered from hip/pelvis pain for 2 months and nothing making it better, I was recommended to visit Moira by a colleague who said she was the best Osteopath that she’d ever seen. I went for my first session not quite knowing what to expect, but I can safely say she is brilliant at what she does.
I always had a sore neck (too much laptop work on planes) but when I started having severe shooting pains I knew something wasn’t right. I went Moira who made me feel very welcome and relaxed and definitely knew what she was talking about. Even after the initial manipulation I could feel it getting much better she also gave me exercises to do at home and tips of keeping the pain monster at bay.
Moira makes what she does seem easy and I oh so know it’s not. When my knee kept locking she was very quick to diagnose what the problem was and a later MRI scan confirmed this. This meant I was able to seek the right medical treatment immediately. I have also had to be treated by Moira for back pain and she has always been able to loosen me up with her combo of manipulation and acupuncture, talk about being able to hit the spot.
An ongoing debilitating injury that effected my neck movement and my rugby game was quickly pin pointed by Moira. Over a series of sessions, using massage and acupuncture, she managed to relieve my symptoms entirely. I was then able to fully appreciate how this injury had affected my life and my rugby game. Moira has treated many of the Barbados National Team players as well as the West Indies Team and is renowned for her ‘magic fingers’.

Have Some Questions?
Osteopathy is a safe and natural health care system, which focuses on the musculo-skeletal system (bones, joints, muscles, ligaments and tendons). It combines scientific knowledge of anatomy, physiology and clinical methods of investigation with detailed examination using the hands. Regulated by the General Osteopathic Council, all Osteopaths must undergo intensive training and adhere to strict legal guidelines. Osteopathy is used to treat many causes of pain and imbalance from tendonitis to joint and muscle inflammation, which can arise from conditions such as Osteoarthritis, sports injuries, postural imbalances or simple unexplained muscle spasm. However, as well as treating the symptomatic area, I find and treat the underlying cause of pain to help prevent symptoms reoccurring. This area may not be at the site of pain, but in another area entirely, which may be causing a functional imbalance.
PRINCIPAL OSTEOPATH – £70
ASSOCIATE OSTEOPATH – £60
All fees include Acupuncture, Kinesio Tape and Cranial Osteopathy.
Yes, Osteopathy is safe both in pregnancy and postnatally. Treatment is adapted for comfort and gestational age.
During the first treatment, a full case history will be taken, including past and present medical history. This is followed by observing your movements, physical examination of the muscles, ligament and tendons as well as joint mobility. As it is essential to observe how the spine, muscles and joints work together during movement, patients will need to remove some items of clothing during the examination.
According to your needs, treatment can include a combination of soft tissue massage and stretching, joint manipulation, cranial osteopathy, trigger point acupuncture and Kinesio Taping. All treatment modalities will be discussed in detail with the patient first.
Appointments are 45mins. Prices include all treatment modalities, including acupuncture and kinesio tape.
24 hours notice is required to cancel appointments.
A G.P.’s referral is not required, however, if you are using your health insurance, some providers may need a referral. If you wish the clinic to invoice your insurance company directly, an authorisation code will be required before treatment commences.
